For 30 years Doris worked for the News Media company Gannett, Inc., 27 of which she was a Vice President of Circulation for USA Today. She helped build the newspaper from it’s beginning, by creating excellence in delivery and customer service. Her success has always come from putting people first, above all else – her employees and clients – and encouraging them to put their priorities first in their own lives. Doris is a natural leader, selecting the best people for the task at hand. She supports her team by making sure they have the tools and quality education programs they need to excel.

Stephanie Halcomb DC

Dr. Halcomb graduated in 1997 from Life University in Marietta, Georgia with her Doctorate of Chiropractic and Bachelor of Science in Nutrition degrees.

She holds both State and National certifications and is a member of the Tennessee Chiropractic Association & American Chiropractic Association. She has experience working with patients of all ages, from infants to senior citizens.

Dr. Halcomb currently practices in Memphis, TN after relocating from Duluth, GA. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her family & friends, playing cards, and exercising.

Dr. Halcomb believes in doing your best to reach optimal health through Chiropractic care, home care, nutrition, exercise and to start at an early age to prevent chronic musculoskeletal conditions. “Home Care Assistance’s proprietary Balanced Care Method is a holistic program to promote optimal health and well-being. A 10-year veteran of the healthcare industry, Decire has a Bachelor’s Degree in Health Science and exceptional experience from caregiving to administrative experience in Chiropractic and Stem Cell Practices. “My favorite part of helping seniors is making their voices heard and helping them find and maintain purpose in this stage of life. I enjoy being able to serve and advocate for our seniors within our community, addressing their needs and concerns.” Decire is particularly proud to work with Home Care Assistance, “a healthcare team with integrity and passion for providing care to seniors. Allison Records, MS, RN

Allison has worked in the healthcare field for 17 years. She began her nursing career in an emergency department and provided critical care, patient teaching, and emotional support to clients of all ages. After completing her master’s degree in nursing education, Allison transitioned from bedside nursing to teaching medical surgical nursing to baccalaureate nursing students at a highly renowned college.

Allison’s favorite part of helping seniors is encouraging them to engage in fun, social, healthy activities with the help of their Home Care Assistance caregivers, and she loves getting out into the community to conduct caregiver supervisory visits. “During these visits, I get to know the client and can guide the caregiver to provide individualized, excellent care for each senior. My favorite part of Home Care Assistance is the awesome caregivers! They’re well trained, professional, compassionate, and safe, and they are making big differences in the lives of our clients.”

Renee joined Home Care Assistance with a background in Marketing & Accounting in the Salon & Spa industry. She has been an owner and partner in 2 Salons in Washington DC, and Northern VA. She earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Business from Georgia Southern University in 1992.

With over 20 years of experience in the Beauty & Service Industry, Renee brings a passion for serving others to our company. One of the things she loves most about Home Care Assistance is our natural, proactive approach to care. “The Cognitive Therapeutic Method we use has been proven to aide in slowing down cognitive decline in our seniors. It’s a great way for our Caregivers to get our clients to exercise their brain and it’s a fun way to spend their time together. I grew up playing cards and solving puzzles with my Grandparents, who are still enjoying their lives in their own home. It makes me very happy that we are able to make a difference in people’s lives.”

Throughout Darryl’s 17-year journey in healthcare, he has embraced diverse roles, from Certified Nursing Assistant and Emergency Medical Technician to Registered Nurse and Administration

As a result, the independence they enjoy allows them to thrive in the comfort of their homes for as long as possible, ultimately enhancing their overall quality of life.
